We are Nyoman and Julie Sumerta and together our goal is to conquer the world as we know it. Well, perhaps not quite the world... What we'd REALLY like to do is introduce ourselves and our abilities (and sense of humour!) to those of you interested in yoga, art and creativity.
Julie is a Certified Yoga Teacher who has studied and taught yoga for nearly a decade in Ontario, Canada (where we currently reside) and in Bali, Indonesia. She wants to share some of her ideas, thoughts & photographic images and is interested in hearing what her students and clients have to share with her. You'll find articles, thoughts and blurbs on her page dedicated to the practice of yoga. You can also peruse and order some of her images as greeting cards.
Nyoman is a skilled woodcarver born, raised and trained to carve in the exotic Paradise of Bali, Indonesia. He specializes in carvings that are spiritually based for a variety of faiths. You can check out some of his work on our wood work page & gallery and can even order a custom designed carving for your home or pratice space.
